Tonight, at the Palacio Peñarol, will begin the other two Quarter Final playoffs series still not started. One of these games will be played between the teams placed #4 and #5, Goes and Malvin.
In the last part of the regular season, Malvin lost some important games that defined their position, which is one of the lowest in the last years. On the other hand, Goes was one of the surprises of the LUB and finished in their best position in the history.
Sam Hoskin had a very solid regular season, averaging 27 minutes, 14.2 points, 7 rebounds, with 62.4% FGP. He had the best performance on December 5th against Larre Borges, with 28 points and 12 rebounds with a perfect 100% from FT line. During the FIBA Americas League with Malvin, Sam averaged 16 points and 5 rebounds in 6 games played, and for the South American League he played 5 games averaging 12 points and 5 rebounds.
Kennedy Winston share with Hoskin the Malvin top scorer during the LUB 2015/2016 Regular Season. He averaged 14.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists, with 36.9% from 3Pt line and 74.1 from FT. His best performance was on October 31st against Aguada, when he scored 26 points, grabbed 5 rebound and had 7 assists, almost perfect from 3 pts (3/4) and Ft line (9/10). In the South American League, when Malvin finished 3rd, Kennedy averaged 13.3 pts, 4.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists; and during the FIBA Americas League he averaged 12 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
If Malvin want to play the LUB 2015/2016 Finals again, they will need the best version of both players.
One Orange Sports would like to wish both athletes the best of luck during the LUB Playoffs.
