Two New Placements in LUB

In the last days and in cooperation with other agents and agencies, two more players were signed in Uruguay by our Agency.

Benjamin Puckett signed a deal with Bigua, and will play with them for the rest of Superliga in the LUB 2015/2016. Benjamin, who played before in Uruguay with Aguada and was shortly with Trouville, came from Ecuador where he played with UTE. They lost the Direct-TV League Finals against ComuniKt, and BJ was the most important player of UTE averaging 21 points and 13 rebounds. UTE also played the LSB 1st stage against Guaros (Venezuela), Regatas (Argentina) and Franca (Brazil), finishing 3rd in this group.  BJ averaged 16.6 points, 4.7 rebounds with 45.5% from 3-point line and 89% from the FT line. BJ is a veteran, who will provide the young team of Bigua with his experience (on and off the Court) and work in the paint. Special thanks to Ian SInger, BJ American Agent. Linked is Benjamin Puckett’s Profile.

Eloy Vargas, center from Dominican Republic started the season in Greece, where he averaged 18.9 minutes, 7.6 points and 4.9 rebounds, but decided to sign with Defensor Sporting from Uruguay to try to help this team win the LUB Championship. Eloy is a young player, who played NCAA at the best level for Kentucky, but  also with a lot of experience overseas as he played for his home country’s national team. Besides playing for Kentucky, Eloy played 27 games in Spanish ACB (Fuelnabrada), 30 games in the D-League (D-Fenders), and 21 games in Puerto Rico (Bayamon). In the last FIBA Americas with the Dominican Republic NT, he played in Mexico as he averaged 6 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest. Eloy was signed in collaboration with Pedro Power and Frank Brito.

Good luck to both players and their respective teams in the remainder of the season.
