Our Players Continue to Play a Great Brand of Basketball in Europe

Jaime Smith continues to play a great brand of basketball for Liege in Belgium’s top Scooore League. He is averaging 15.6 points and 3.2 assists while shooting 47% from the field, 51% from behind the 3-point line, and 93% from the charity line. Jaime can equally well play both guard positions, which makes him extremely versatile player. As always, his shooting percentages are outstanding. Currently, Liege is in 8th position with 9 wins and 11 losses record.

John Roberson is having an outstanding season in French ProA league and FIBA EuropeCup. Currently his team, Chalon, is second in a very tough and highly competitive ProA league, with 15 wins and 7 losses. Since the start of the season,  John has been leading ProA league in assists. He is currently averaging 6 assists per game, while also scoring 14.3 points per game. In addition, he is shooting 51% from the field, 45% from behind the 3-point line, and outstanding 89% from the free throw line. He is playing equally well in FIBA Europe Cup, where the team qualified to play Final 4. Chalon also lost in the finals of the League Cup, and John played great in all three cup games.

Our rookie wing, Tylor Ongwae, is having an outstanding season for Solna in the Swedish Basketettan league. Earlier in the season, the team finished the first part of the competition with 9 and 2 record. As the top seat, the team qualified to play the Super League that began in January. They beat top ranked LF Future to finish in the first place in the North part of the Basketettan league. Just recently, they won the Basketettan (Super League) and Tylor was named MVP of the league. In 22 games, he averaged 21 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.2 steals per game, while shooting 66% from the field, 37% from behind the 3-point line, and 79% from the free throw line. Tylor was named MVP of the last six rounds, and the MVP of the league. In the last six games he had six double-doubles with 28 points and 18 rebounds, 26 points and 15 rebounds, 18 points and 12 rebounds, 28 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists, and 8 steals, 25 points and 10 rebounds, 18 points and 12 rebounds, and 18 points and 14 rebounds. They are the regular season champions and playoffs champions.
