David Jackson, who came to Quimsa when the team had a negative record (3-5), helped the team win 8 of the last 12 games. Currently, Quimsa is placed 3rd in the North Conference, with the same wins as Regatas de Corrientes. David is averaging 32 minutes per game, 16 points and 5 rebounds, with 44.4% from the 3-point line and 91.5% from the FT line. As usual, David leads his team in several categories: scoring (19p/g), 3Pts % (45%), FT% (91.5%), and is their most valuable player (18,5). Quimsa will play the FIBA Americas League 2016, starting the next January.
Shaun Green, player represented by Sportslist Inc., and placed by our Agency in South America, showed in the 4 games he played, what La Union de Formosa was searching for. He quickly become the leader of the team, in and off the court. He arrived to Formosa as they had a 3-11 record, but immediately he helped them win four games. He is averaging 25 minutes, 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists, with 38% from 3-point line and 64% from the charity line.
Torin Francis, who came to La Union de Formosa after playing with Malvin the LSB Semifinals, became, with only 2 games played, the Most Valuable Player in the LNB (26), 5th in scoring (19.5ppg) and 2nd in rebounds (12rpg). In his first game with the team, against Atenas de Cordoba, he had a impressive performance with a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds in only 23 minutes. The second game (also his second win), was another good performance, with another double-double (16 points and 11 rebounds. Tonight, La Union de Formosa will play against Richard Chaney’s Libertad.
Kyle Lamonte, who was with Atenas de Cordoba during 15 games, left the team a week ago by mutual agreement. Due to the injuries some national players suffered, the Club decided to change the strategy and sign an American player in another position. Kyle played 15 games, averaging 32 minutes, 14.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3 assists, with 51% FG, 35.1% from the 3-point line and 80% from the FT line. He was the best scorer of Atenas in this stage, and had his best scoring performance against Quimsa on November 3rd, with 28 points.
